FAQ2025: How to Access and Use the Activity Block

The Activity Block helps you quickly navigate to all the activities in a course—like quizzes, assignments, forums, and resources—organized by type. It's a helpful shortcut for finding what you need without scrolling through the full course page.

Step 1: Login to the portal
 

Step 2: Enter the Course

  • From the Dashboard or My Courses, click on the course you want to check.
 

Step 3: Locate the “Activities” Block

  • Look on the block drawer at the right-hand side of the course homepage.

  • Look for a block titled “Activities.”

 

Step 4: Use the Activity Links

  • Inside the Activities block, you'll see links to activity types such as:

    • 📄 Assignments

    • 🧪 Quizzes

    • 💬 Forums

    • 📁 Files/Resources

    • 🔗 URLs

    • 📚 Books or Pages

  • Click any of these links to see a list of all items of that type in the course.

Example: Click on Quizzes to view all quizzes available in the course, along with their open/close dates and submission status.

🎯 Why Use the Activity Block?

  • Quickly jump to all of one type of activity (e.g., view all your quizzes in one place).

  • Avoid scrolling through long course pages.

  • Check deadlines and availability of grouped items.
