CONTENT SYNOPSIS:

This course provides foundational information and understanding about a fascinating subject – anatomy and physiology– its cells, tissues, and organ systems and their functions. 

A sound grasp of the material presented in this course is essential for a good understanding and application of nursing science courses which students will learn from Semesters 3 – 8 where the contents integrate the study of relevant anatomy and physiology, conditions and diseases, and the treatment with particular focus on management and nursing care.

This module will cover the nerves, nervous system, digestive system, endocrine system, renal system, lymph system, immune system, and reproductive system.
