    Dear Students,

    Welcome to Topic 5: Nursing the patient with commonly occurring conditions /diseases of the eye

    In this topic, we will explore nursing the patient with commonly occurring conditions /diseases of the eye, how to assess, diagnose, plan, and implement and evaluate for commonly occurring conditions/diseases of the eye,

    • Learning Outcomes

      • CLO1: Demonstrate knowledge of commonly encountered conditions affecting eye, ear, nose and throat. (C2-Cognitive, PLO6, Apply)                                                                                                   

      • CLO2: Demonstrate competency in performing and/or assisting with nursing procedures related to care of patients with alterations in the eye, ear, nose and throat (C3A-Practical, PLO2, Apply)
      • CLO3: Formulate nursing care for patients with alterations in the eye, ear, nose and throat using nursing process (C2-Cognitive, C3D -Digital, PLO6, Create)
