Counseling approaches II: Counselling skills
Counseling is defined as a process of building a therapeutic relationship that helps individuals reach goals in their mental health, education, and/or careers. Counseling processes require their own unique skill set, comprised of techniques designed to best reach certain kinds of clients. In this section, we offer a brief overview of both general processes and skills that can help a counselor to conduct a counseling session.
